News of the resignation due to a corruption inquiry came as a complete shock, as many had assumed the Premier was entirely above the law given the nearly biblical powers she wielded against the population during the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One sobbing local, suffering from a severe case of Stockholm syndrome, fought back the tears, <strong><em>&#8220;we&#8217;ve been safely imprisoned in our homes for months under COVID lock-down restrictions, but without our beloved jailer, who will lock us up now? What are we to do? What if the next state state Premier isn&#8217;t a tyrannical dictator?! We&#8217;ll all surely all catch COVID and die! Does anyone have an extra mask? I feel safer wearing two.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chief of Police moved quickly to assure residents that even with the departure of their beloved authoritarian Premier, the police would double efforts to violently suppress the population arbitrarily and without restraint. The Australian Prime Minister also stepped in to assure all Australian&#8217;s that the bans on travelling abroad will continue, so everyone can feel extra safe, being both locked in their homes and within the borders of Australia, the worlds largest Prison colony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indications from the ruling party indicate that fortunately, there are a number of equally tyrannical psychopathics waiting in the wings to fill the shoes of the Premier, so it is likely the population need not wait long to find out what new tyranny awaits them.
