BRICS becomes PRICS as Pakistan replaces Brazil

ISLAMABAD – BRICS has announced that the group would be renamed to PRICS after Pakistan was confirmed as replacing Brazil in the group of 5 countries.

The loose coalition of countries that comprise PRICS, namely Pakistan, Russia, India, China and South Africa, confirmed that the new group naming better represented their values and what they stand for.

“The old name was very rigid and heavy, while PRICS represents what we strive to be on the world stage.”

Not to waste any time, the PRICS have announced they will escalate their international belligerence, stomping the sovereignty of other nations, vetoing security council resolutions, crushing human rights, covering up the origins of COVID and just generally being a bunch of pricks.

Given China’s ongoing and sometimes violent border dispute with India, we asked PRICS members if there was a scenario where they could see India being removed from the coalition.

“This isn’t a question of whether India should be in or out, but one of practicality. Without India who can fill the void? Iceland? Iran? I mean, it’s slim pickings, and while we can pay off corrupt foreign government, we can’t buy a vowel.”

It looks like PRICS have never been more focused on what matters. Without a doubt, it’s all but inevitable that PRICS will reach their goal of supplanting the West as leaders of the developed world.
